WHY RE-PLAY?

American Made, Family Owned & Operated Since 1987
Re-Think It Inc. was founded by husband and wife team Craig and Amy Shumway in 1987 with the goal of producing high quality, durable, and sustainable consumer goods.

After humble beginnings producing the Original Power Puff, an all-purpose scrubber made out of recycled milk containers, the couple moved on to develop a successful line of organic cotton and bamboo toys under the Dandelion label and then, in 2011, they founded Re-Play.

Now sold worldwide, Re-Play is a range of affordable, durable and sustainable children's tableware made from recycled, FDA approved, food safe plastic in a wide colour palette. Originally developed for infants and toddlers, the products proved so popular that in 2018 the company decided to expand the range to include “grown-up” sizes, transitioning RePlay from a children's tableware company to a family tableware company.

About Re-Play: Making Mealtime Family Time
Re-Play was founded on the belief that mealtime is family time. Not only are the products durable and cleverly designed so that even little first-time eaters can learn to feed themselves, but they are colourful and fun so parents spend less time worrying about mealtime and more time enjoying family time.

Re-Play is safe. The products are designed to be sturdy and long-lasting, so they won’t break. The company sources materials and vibrant colour concentrates to meet strict FDA & EU purity standards. All Re-Play products are free from BPA, BPS, PVC, lead, phthalates and surface coatings. As of 2021, Re-Play has saved well over 100 million milk containers and other food grade plastics from the landfill.

Re-Play’s production carbon footprint is small. The products are all made in Florida where the dedicated milk container recycling depot and the manufacturing facility are within 150 miles of the packaging and distribution centre. From start to finish a Re-Play product travels only 940 miles.

Work Culture
Family values and responsibilities are a leading priority at Re-Play. The company encourages work-life balance and offers employees flexible schedules to support family time and education. Re-Play’s founders believe this balance creates the most productive and rewarding work environment where employees' ideas and input are encouraged and considered in making decisions, both big and small, about the future of the company.
