Refunds & Returns Policy (Wholesale)
Last updated: 28 October 2025
Overview
This policy applies to wholesale customers. Due to the nature of wholesale supply, we do not offer change‑of‑mind returns. We will always meet our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and this policy for faulty, damaged, short‑shipped, or incorrectly supplied goods.
Requesting a return
-
Contact us within 7 days of delivery at admin@theworldofgood.com.au with your order number, item SKU(s), quantity, and reason for the request.
-
Return authorisation (RA): Do not send items back until we’ve issued an RA and provided the return address and instructions.
-
Condition: Items must be unused, in saleable condition, and in original, undamaged packaging (unless the claim relates to damage/defect).
-
Inspection: We may request photos. Returned goods are inspected on receipt before any remedy is approved.
Return shipping
- If the return is due to our error, damage in transit, or a manufacturing defect, we’ll arrange and cover return freight.
- In other approved cases, return freight is your responsibility. We recommend tracked/insured shipping.
- Risk in returned items remains with you until we receive them.
Refunds, credits, and exchanges
- Once inspected and approved, we will issue a replacement, exchange, credit note, or refund to the original payment method.
- Original shipping charges are non‑refundable unless the return results from our error or a defective product.
- Where a discretionary return (non‑faulty) is approved, a reasonable restocking fee may apply (for example, 10%) to cover handling and inspection costs.
Shortages, damages, and incorrect items
-
Shortages or incorrect supply must be reported within 3 business days of delivery.
-
Damaged goods should be reported within 7 days with photos of outer cartons and product packaging. Please retain packing materials for carrier inspection.
Non‑returnable items
- Custom or special‑order products made or ordered specifically for you.
- Clearance or final‑sale items (where stated at the time of purchase).
- Items not in resaleable condition due to handling or storage after delivery (except where the claim relates to hidden defects).
Consumer guarantees (ACL)
Under the ACL you may have rights where goods are faulty, unsafe, do not match description, or are not of acceptable quality.
-
Consumers: Your statutory rights cannot be excluded.
-
Business purchases: If goods are acquired for under AUD $100,000 and not for the purpose of resupply, certain ACL guarantees may apply. Goods acquired for resupply are generally excluded from ACL consumer guarantees.
If a product has a major failure, you may choose a refund or replacement and may seek compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For minor failures, we may repair or replace within a reasonable time; if not feasible, a refund may be available.
